Mixed Impressions Entertainment had a wonderful day today at the show. We met a lot of brides and our success was shown by booking 5 wedding receptions! Better than last year! We certainly didn’t expect 5, but look forward to those receptions and more to come. We already have had 3 website contacts through our site just tonight.

That being said, we thank you, the brides, and Celebrations for sponsoring the Wedding Showcase.

We ended the year on December 28, 2007, with one of our fun nights at the Rec Center in Ephrata. Again the students from Ephrata and Cocalico junior high schools came out for a night of dancing and to be with friends over the Christmas break. Lots of students to fill the room. Always a nice place for the kids to get away fro 2 1/2 hours for good fun with dancing, drinks and plenty of room to dance and have fun. Check back in 2008, we go back to the Rec Center in mid-January! We look to get some pictures on-line then from the dancing going on.

For the third year in a row we have had the pleasure of entertaining the employees at Webxtreme. They are a fun bunch of people who made DJ Matt Haines’s job easy. They love to dance and have a good time. As you see below that was quite evident.

There was dinner and awards early but then the dancing got going. This is a company of people who show a real positive spirit about the work they do. Check out the link to the company above the picture to find out more. Below you see Dave Conklin (in gray) leading a dance with his wife Jodi and Rory Wilfong (in white). Th groove was on in a big way.

Mixed Impressions DJ’s had the pleasure of heading to E-town College to entertain the Holiday Dance for the Elizabethtown High School being held at the college. What a wonderful, elegant affair. Although no pictures, we hope after coming back to Elizabethtown after several years we look forward to going back again! DJ Mark Haines kept the music pumping with high energy dance mixes all night.

The college was a great backdrop for the students and was nice to be able to get away from the school for a such a fun event. Great job E-twon, we look forward to your next one!

What a busy weekend before Christmas. But we don’t complain, we just like to have fun! MIDJs headed to Cocalico High School where we have a year long contract with the district and entertained at the Holiday Dance. The picture below shows them getting into the dancing, no doubt!

As you can also see MIDJs also has a full compliment of lights to give the nightclub atmosphere.

We look forward in bringing our sound and light show back to Cocalico in 2008 and we can bring it to your school too! Check out a few more pictures below.

On December 14, 2007, Mixed Impressions DJ’s went out to both Centerville Middle School (DJ Matt Haines) and Donegal Middle School (DJ Mark Haines), and got the kids rockin’ again for dances at each of these schools. MIDJs has contracts with both of these Junior High schools for the dances all year long! We pride ourselves in working with districts year in and year out. The students are great and the faculty is so easy to work with becasue we know each other.

We play all of the hottest dances of today and mix in some fun party stuff like the YMCA, Cotton Eye Joe, Tootsie Roll, the list goes on. We get out and get dance contests for some action between the students. We as the DJ keep it hot all night long! In the coming year we hope to get some pictures from these exciting dances. Keep checking back in ‘08.

As you see from the Nolt Party below, I say that we were back at the Ephrata Recreation Center ”again” only because the night before on November 16th, 2007 we were there as well as on November 30th for dances sponsored by the Rec Center for Junior High students from both Ephrata and Cocalico. What fun nights we have at these dances. The first one, over 400 students showed up to dance and have fun with their friends from school. The second dance had almost as many. See below a room filled with students and them “hands in the air!”

This is what Mixed Impressions DJs can bring to your junior high or high school dance. The Rec Center has several of these dances through the year, the next one on December 28, 2007. COme on out and check it out.

On November 17th, we were back at the Ephrata Recreation Center where we love to go. It’s a great place to have a party with lots of room and easy access. On this night, the Nolt family invited us for a birthday party for their and and another young lady celebrating their 16th birthday! Yahoo! Mixed Impressions DJs had music and game sonce again for the 16 year olds. ALways a hit at a birthdya party is “Stuff It.” You can see below why…

MIDJs is available for all your birhtday parties. We have entertained from 11 to 65, and everything in between.  But on this night it was all about the 16th birthday party.

Mixed Impressions DJ’s ventured out on a rainy night to entertain for the Klingensmith family. Outside under the tent in the Bent Creek area we went to a play music and games for the youngsters. You would never have known it was a rainy night under there except for the sloshing on the wet grass. That did not detract from the awesome outfits worn by the party-goers. I mean come on, check a couple of those great ones below.

We danced and played games for the night. A fun game where we tied donuts to string and the partiers had to eat the donut with no hands from the string. Check that action out in some of the pictures below.
