On Saturday, June 21, 2008, Bent Creek Country Club had Mixed Impressions DJ’s Entertainment for a fun night of music by the pool. We played a mix of music from the 60’s through today for everyone in attendance. We played a few games with young ones. As seen in a the picture below doing a little dance routine.

On Friday night, June 20, 2008 we traveled to Riverdale Manor for what is becoming a more common thing. Friday night weddings. It was a beautiful night for an outside ceremony, cocktails, and a string quartet, all out on the deck. This all happening before moving inside for dinner and dancing with Mixed Impressions DJs.

You see our wedding couple above having thier first dance as husband and wife. What a great crowd, and a fun night had by all.

On Sunday evening June 15th, Mixed Impressions DJ’s traveled to The Eden Resort for a a celebration! A 16th Birthday party in the Presidential Ballroom! DJ Matt Haines had a blast! There was a New York theme to the party. MIDJs had a light show and plenty of dancing, and fun music.

Allow me to describe the following two pictures. The first is our birthday girl Kaity, with her father and grandmother. The one below that, let’s just say, some hands on the hips dance moves to “Apache.”

The Browne family threw a shindig for the children as a going away party! What a blast! Mixed Impressions has had the pleasure of heading out to the Lititz Academy of Dance to host yet another party. What a great facility to have a party! Click on the link above to check it out. They are moving soon to a bigger and better place!

We played games like the limbo, or with hula hoops, even did the dances like the Hokey Pokey and Chicken Dance as seen below.

The other half of May 30th. The Penn Manor High School Prom at Willow Valley Resort. One word comes to mind with this event, and that is WOW! They choose the Party Package. This includes the props and glow products. Simply put it adds a new dimension to the fun and excitement. This was evident in the picture below.

The room was hot, but it didn’t stop these students from having a crazy good time!

With over 500 students at the Prom, it was our biggest this year. We had the sound and lights along with the props to keep this party rockin’ all night. Thanks Penn Manor with a great ending to another super Prom season. Check out more fun stuff below!

Another busy night for Mixed Impressions DJs. On May 30th we were all about the Penn Manor School District. We were at Manor Middle School and Penn Manor High School Prom. Unfortunately, we were contacted by Marticville Middle School, but had to turn them down for a dance.

But as usual, Manor was awesome again! The 8th graders were enjoying themselves. Most were dressed to impress. Thanks for another great year Manor. Check out the fun pictures from the night. Below you see a group of the ladies posing fofr a picture.

On another rare Tuesday, May 27th, we had the pleasure of going out and entertaining for the St. Joseph’s School. Each year they come to Willow Valley for a day of fun swimming, followed by dinner and end with a night of dancing by MIDJs. This is another event we have entertained for almost a decade now! Here is the whole class below.

It has always been a small class, but loads of fun. They enjoy dance contests and dance circles to show off their skills. These students are a blast. We have a few more pictures below.

On May 24th, we traveled back to Willow Valley for the Ephrata Prom! For well over a decade we have had the pleasure of entertaining the students of Ephrata. To put it simple, they love to dance and have a good time. As you can see below.

Ephrata students had a senior march as dinner was ready to begin and you can see some of those students in the pictures at the bottom of this update. We also have plenty more pictures of fun times by the students. —– Again, we encourage comments about your event.

Our other Prom on May 23rd for MIDJ was Hershey High School at the Hotel Hershey up on the hill. Another school that Mixed Impressions has had the pleasure of entertaining for the last several years!

They choose the Party Plus Package - all the lights and all the props. As you can see in the picture below with the props.

These kids just party it up all night long under a top notch light show with glow products, maracas, crazy hats, the list goes on! Thanks Hershey for another solid Prom! Check out more pictures of the Prom below.
