We did the double on February 20th. DJ Mark Haines headed to Donegal Middle School as he usually almost every month. The kids come to dance, run around and have fun. We have a light show and the good clean fun music to make for an energetic night for the students. We hope next time to capture some pictures for everyone to enjoy Thank you Donegal Middle for having MIDJs come out and entertain you all!

DJ Matt Haines went back to Manor Middle School for the first school dance of 2009. They were all dressed up and ready to dance the night away under the lighting effects and fun dance music. Disc Jockey Matt Haines had playing for them all night. Below you see them doing one fo their own special dances to a song.

The students and faculty at Manor Middle School are simply the best. We enjoy going here and entertaining these students each year! We form our dance circle and let them show off the dances moves and abilities. It’s just a fun place to go! See you soon Manor!

Lorenz 50th Wedding Anniversary |

How appropriate that on Valentine’s Day we traveled to the Revere Tavern and entertained for Joan and Bob Lorenz’s, 50th wedding anniversary! Although we don’t do many of these, it is always fun to see the wonderful families of people like the Lorenz families.
We played some games and music, and had some questions for the couple but I have to note the biggest event was when I played the Anniversary Dance backwards. We started with all couples married the longest to come to the dance floor. Our longest marriage was 63 years and going strong. Till we got to the 50th, we already had 8, yes that is 8 couples happily married for more than 50 years.
It wasa great afternoon! Congratulatoins to Joan and Bob for many more years!

Oh no! Friday the 13th. But not a problem for MIDJs and the Ephrata Rec Center. Things went off without a hitch. Tons of kids came to dance and dance they did! The Rec Center has monthly dances for the middle school students through the school year and they also sponsor other special events like talent shows and late night swims. These events are open to both Ephrata and Cocalico students.
For MIDJs it has always been a success coming to the Rec. We plan on bringing some pictures the next time. So look back after the next dance — scheduled for March 20th!
Thanks Ephrata Rec!

Here in Lancaster County, Mixed Impressions DJ’s can cover two events on the same day only hours apart. We started in the afternoon at Pequea Valley Intermediate School and then less then 2 hours later were playng again at Centerville Middle School.
MIDJs traveled to Pequea Valley Intermediate for the first time and look forward to going back there in the future. We made friends with the students and they enjoyed the afternoon dancing and getting into some of the crowd involvement songs like thr Cha Cha, the Slide. It was a fun time.
We headed back westward in Lancaster County to Centerville Middle School for their first dance of 2009! Once again, another huge crowd, great kids and alot of dancing! Thank you Centerville!

Mixed Impressions have been a staple as a Lancaster County Disc Jockey for over 21 years now. However, we have taken our business to York County, Dauphin County, Lebanon County and elsewhere. Simply put, we are a Susquehanna Valley DJ for several counties around Lancaster and even taken our business to the state of Maryland and Delaware in the past. We are not only a DJ business but also a MC and entertainer. The business has evolved into this over the years and MIDJs has stayed the course.
We have entertained and various venues indoor and out. But most of all, we have done all types of events. We are a Wedding DJ, School DJ, both Middle School and High School DJ. We do reunions, birthdays, anniversaries and everything in between. MIDJs has the variety of music from the 40’s to today, and all the styles in between. Mixed Impressions also caries a full light show for the “nightclub” atmosphere.
Mixed Impressions DJ’s would like to thank all our patrons in 2008, those one time events and those who contract again and again!

Mixed Impressions DJ’s ended up a great 2008 with E-town High School Holiday Ball on December 20th, 2009. They held this pristine event at Elizabethtown College. The students were dressed to impress on this grand night and to simply have fun as is evidenced below.

We played the hottest tunes and ran the wildest light show. The students were “gettin their grove on” if you will, during the night. They kept the dance floor busy all night long. They even had the teachers getting into the dance scene.

Thanks E-town, and we look forward to continuing to work with the school in the future. Check out a bunch more pictures below.

MIDJs doubled up on December 19th and DJ Matt Haines traveled to the Ephrata Recreation Center to start off another school year full of dances for the Rec Center. It was a cold night but it didn’t stop of the middle school students from both Ephrata and Cocalico Middle Schools coming out.
The staff at the Rec Center changed things up alittle this year. They split up the dance and have the 6th graders for an hour and half and then 30 minutes later bring in the 7th and 8th graders for two hours. It has turned out to be a great success.
It has continued to be a great working relatoinship with the various staff members at the Ephrata Recreation Center. See you in 2009!
