On a rare, but always fun, Wednesday night Mixed Impressions DJ’s traveled to Millerville University and entertained for the Army Heritage Center Foundation. Click on the link to find out more! This brings students from all over the state to Millersville for this annual event. Students from sixth grade to seniors.

To get out for alittle bit they have entertainment for an evening with us! They danced the night away!

The month of May started off with a bang! Warwick High School had their Prom on May 2nd at Willow Valley Resort. They packed the house!

They kept the dance floor busy till the song song of the night. These kids know how to dance. MIDJs did their part and the kids did the rest.. Thanks Warwick, and good luck to the seniors!

On April 25th, 2009, DJ Mark Haines rocked the house for the Prom at the Hershey Lodge. MIDJs had the lights and sound show, Hershey provided the dancing students. We had the hottest mixes of today’s hottest songs. Bom Bom Pow, Right Round, the list goes on.

Each year the Cocalico High School sponsors an event for the Senior Citizens in the Denver area. This year it fell on April 25, 2009. They set up fun games for the seniors to participate in for the evenings. Everything from bowling, ping-pong, and the always popular bingo.

Mixed Impressions Disc Jockeys played a big part in this as well. We entertained with the classics from the 40′s through the 60′s and everything else. They did dance too!

They had a blast, and in talking with the students, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. It was a fun time for all. They even threw in the current popular song Right Round, and the students showed their dance styles of today. But it was the senior citizens that really know how to dance. You can see that in many of the pictures by clicking below.

On Friday, April 24, 2009, DJ Matt Haines headed to Ephrata Recreation Center for the final dance of the school year. Although a beautiful day out The Rec still filled the room. They split the dances with 5th and 6th grade in one dance and then 7th and 8th grade in the later dance. Thanks to Terry Hildebrand for having us come out and entertain for the monthly dances.

We would also note that MIDJs also entertained for Terry’s daughter for her wedding back in September of 2008.

On this same night DJ Mark Haines traveled to Hempfield High School and finished up the school year with a joint dance of both Centerville and Landisville Middle Schools 8th graders. It’s an event to introduce the students to each other and the high school. We closed out the year with Centerville DJing at all their events. Someday we would like the opportunity to get back with Landisville Middle.

Thanks to both Centerville Middle School and the Ephrata Rec Center having us throughout the 2008-2009 school year. We look forward to 2010. 

Prom season has begun! It started with Lampeter Strasburg on April 18, 2009 at Willow Valley Resort. MIDJs has been entertaining at High School Proms for 20 years now. There was a great group of students that came out for an evening with dinner and dancing and dancing they did as you see!

On April 17th, we finished another successful year with the Donegal Middle School. We entertained several events almost monthly during the school year. Thanks to Advisor Jessica Rose for having us throughout the school year. We have the future pleasure in August of entertaining at Ms. Rose’s wedding! MIDJ’s keep going back and now we added a wedding reception out of this too!

The following weekend, April 4th, 2009, we entertained for our fourth and final High School Mini-THON at Hempfield High School. This was the first for Hempfield, and they started out witha huge success! Look below at the sea of students who came out to help raise money for the 4 Diamonds Fund.

Hempfield had great support from the school and faculty with over 70 teachers coming in throughout the night and around 400 students! They would like to double that for 2010! This is a “Battle 4 the Kids” and Hempfield played a big part in helping that battle. The great thing is the total amount raised as you see below!

Way to go Hempfield! On behlaf of Mixed Impressions, we had a blast too! The students welcomed us and we just kept the music going throughout the night, among the many activities the school had set up and running all night. Check out more pictures below.
