On June 3, 2009, we traveled to the Millersville Pool to play music for the graduating seniors at Penn Manor High School. They have practice in the morning, then come to the pool for an afternoon of eating, swimming, basketball, volleyball, and Bingo! Bingo for big prizes, and just a fun time for the graduating seniors. Mixed Impressions comes in and plays fun music for all to enjoy listening.

But the biggest event of the afternoon was the Belly Flop Competition! Here is a tease of what you will see in the pictures.

Although, it may not be musically oriented, they simply enjoyed music being played throughout the afternoon! Thanks Penn Manor School District for another fun year of events at both the high school and middle schools. Check out this slide show in order, it will be much more appreciated that way!

What an event. The first ever Virtual Charter School graduation. Family, friends and students from the eastern part of the state came together at Willow Valley for their graduation.

After the ceremony, and dinner, then it was time to shine for Mixed Impressions Disc Jockeys. We played music for the rest of the night out in Palm Court and we had people from all over the state on the dance floor. We had to move tables to make room for everybody.

We apologize but were unable to post pictures for the event. But know this, they danced the night away till we had to shut it down. We appreciate them having us to entertain them for this first ever graduation.

Surprise…. but not really. She knew about the party. The Cox family had a 13th birthday party and Mixed Impressions was there for the games and entertainment. What a fun night.  We played some games, ate some food, and had some birthday cake. With friends and family present our birthday girl had a blast.

They did all the dances like the Cha Cha, the Electric Slide, some Cotton Eye Joe, and many more. We played some games that you can check out in the pictures.

Every year Manor Middle School has a dance for only the 8th graders. How cool is that? MIDJs provide the music and fun as we do all year long for their dances. There was other events going on in the Millersville area this same night, so there was not a big turnout.

So, DJ Matt Haines got some hula hoops and we played some games and had fun with who was there. They had fun and ended the night among their friends to “Lean on Me” and formed a circle and closed out the night as you see below.

On Saturday night, May 23rd, MIDJs completed another successful year of high school proms with the one and only Epharta Prom at none other than Willow Valley Resort! With a “Manhattan at Midnight” theme the room was decorated to a tee and Ephrata came to dance and party!

The picture above says it all. Since 1992, 17 years ago, Mixed Impressions DJs have been the entertainment for Ephrata’s Prom. Wow, what a great school and over the years we have had the pleasure of getting to know some of the great students that came out of the school. We say thanks for another wonderful year.

DJ Matt Haines of Mixed Impressions Entertainment traveled to Dauphin County to the elegant Hershey Hotel! Every year for for the last several years MIDJs have entertained the seniors at the Prom with our Party Plus Package highlighting glow products and props galore.

Every year Hershey comes to have a party provided by Mixed Impressions.

After a wonderful meal the kids move ontot eh dance floor and we just keep them going all night till we have to turn it off. What a party, another great year, see ya next year Hershey! Check out some more fun photos below.

What a big night for Mixed Impressions DJ’s Entertainment! Friday May 22, 2009, we had two large productions going on for area High Schools. First there was Octorara at the gorgeous Willow Valley Resort. Our fourth out of five times traveling to Willow Valley this Prom season.

They choose are infamous Intelligent Light Show Package which includes 8 hi-tech lighting effects that have laser like effect lighting bouncing, twisting, and turning all over the room. But what made this all complete was the awesome student body of the school dancing the night away. The students of Octorara came in and took the place over pulsating to the hottest mixes put together by DJ Mark Haines.

We look forward to September when we travel to the school for Homecoming!

On a rare Monday event, Mixed Impressions entertained the graduating 8th graders from St. Joseph’s School in Chester County. They take the day and travel to Lancaster for a fun time at Willow Valley. They end the day with a nice dinner and dance. Mixed Impressions has the honor being the DJ to provide that dance music. DJ Matt Haines has been entertaining this group since the early 2000’s. It’s a great group of students that we play music and games with every year.

Thank you St. Joseph’s for another year.

We followed Friday night’s Prom with another one Saturday at the Velancia Ballroom in York with the York Suburban Prom on May 16th. We had the place rocking all night and had the biggest conga line going up the stairs and back down the other side! Again, we had the party props and fun added in as you see.

Thanks for another great year! York Suburban kept the dance floor hopping.

Mixed Impressions Entertainment traveled back to Willow Valley again for Penn Manor High School’s Prom. The biggest one we entertained in 2009 with over 550 in attendance. But we are made for the big events. We had lots of fun in store for them. It started with Glow Products followed by Hawaiian leis, and finished it off with party props, and lots of dancing. Check some out below.

We got the room heated up with all the students dancing the night away! They got their hands in the air and just didn’t care how hot it was, they wanted to dance.
