Mixed Impression DJs and Entertainment
Garden Spot Winter Formal
January 24th, 2010 under HS School Dances. [ Comments: none ]

On Saturday January 23rd, MIDJs traveled to New Holland and entertained the students at Garden Spot High School. We played a variety of music and went back in time and played the request of “We Like to Party” and the students got the train going as you see below.

These students came to dance! They had their hands in the air, the feet groovin’ to the beat and it never stopped. DJ Matt Haines kept the beats going all night for a great dance! We look forward to the opportunity to go back to Garden Spot in the future. Check out more fun pictures from this dance.

16th Birthday Party for Chase
January 24th, 2010 under Youth Parties. [ Comments: none ]

On a weeknight event, we traveled to Ridge Run Campground on Thursday, January 21st. Chase Donley turned 16! He was pleasantly surprised by 40 plus of his friends. The room was set for a Mexican theme. Lots of food and fun for everyone!

They enjoyed dancing throughout the night and had fun chasing each other around with cake in the face. Thanks to the Donley family for having MIDJs.

The next night, January 16th, we traveled to E-town College for a dance for the High School. This was the Winter Formal that was rescheduled from the snow storm in December. What an awesome night. As you see below it was a hand raising experience!

We played all the hot mixes and fancy dances. Below you see a couple students doing the Cotton Eye Joe dance!

2010 will have several trips to the Ephrata Recreation Center. Our first one was on Friday night January 15th. Again they continue with the split dances, the 5th and 6th graders from 5:30 to 7:00 and then the 7th and 8th graders come in from 7:30 to 9:30.

Students from Ephrata and Cocalico are welcome, and even other schools. Have ID and come on out for a fight night of dancing and meeting new people. The Rec Center has a lot to offer and is always a good time.

Solanco Class of 1989 Reunion
January 24th, 2010 under Special Events. [ Comments: none ]

Mixed Impressions DJ’s started the year off at the beautiful Fireside Tavern in Strasburg for the Solanco Class of 1989. A great crowd was a present for the fact it was 20 years. Surprisingly, still quite a few reside in the southern end of the county.

1989 was a good year for music, one of the biggest hits out of that time was Love Shack by the B-52s. Bon Jovi was big and plenty of others. We played a mix of music from the late 80′s till today’s hits too!

A good crowd, we had some dancing and plenty of reminicing. It was a good time had by all! We will have pictures coming.

2010 HERE WE COME
January 24th, 2010 under Site Update. [ Comments: none ]

Mixed Impressions Disc Jockeys had a great 2009 and look to continue now in 2010. Although a little out of order, we have already promoted the business at the York Wedding Wonderland and have faired very well through the Show.

With events already booked here in 2010, the first 6 months are extremely busy. Several weddings and proms coming in the first 6 months. Our DJ’s, Matt and Mark Haines are ready to keep things moving forward toward a great spring.

We thank all the patrons that have worked with MIDJ’s over the past 20 plus years and in some cases those that still are presently working with Mixed Impressions! To all those who have future events with us. We look forward to bring you a great presentation with our music and memories to last as a result. Fo those of you looking for good quality entertainment with 20 plus years experience.

We are here for you!

Finally, thank you all again, and we’ll see you in 2010!

York Wedding Wonderland
January 10th, 2010 under Site Update, Wedding Show. [ Comments: none ]

What a great day! Between myself and my associates we spoke to several hundred brides today! So to all of those that we spoke to, we say thank you! It was a pleasure. In fact,  I would also like to note that on the spot we contracted a total of 5 wedding receptions! That is a great number to actually do right at the Show. Again, I would like to say thank you!

For those of you that are reading this now, I suggest you scroll down the left hand side of the page and click on weddings to see some of the weddings we have performed at over the last couple of years. We look forward to the opportunity to add you to that list!

Remember, as we said in speaking to you, we are a smaller company, only the two of us, and with that, dates fill up. Check things out, talk to your significant other,  and feel free to contact us with questions and you can do that two ways, but phone or here, through the website. We look forward to hearing from many of you in the coming days and weeks.

Again, thank you all for taking the time to speak with us, and we look forward to the possibility fo entertaining for your wedding reception, and giving you the individualized attention you derserve for your wedding day!

THANK YOU !  Mixed Impressions DJ’s
