On February 11, 2011, DJ Mark Haines traveled to Manor for another wonderful night of dancing. The dance was one of formal fashion. They were all dressed up and looking sharp. The students looked great and the dance floor was packed for a great night of dancing.

 We continue to have such a success at Manor Middle School. The students are great, the advisor Ms. Youtz is wonderful to work with and the whole organization is second to none! Thanks for another great dance!

We started out February on the 4th heading to the Ephrata Rec. This school year has been a very good year with both dances. The 4th and 6th grade is just great with the students dancin and hollaring all evening long. Then the night turns to the 7th and 8th grade students. They take the night over from 7:30 to 9:30. The hottest songs of NOW! It’s a fun event for all the middle school students and it attracts them from both Ephrata and Cocalico. I would encourage all students to come out and check it out.

February started off as did January with a Rec Center dance! As one of our best customers the Rec Center never fails us. They attract great groups of students. from 5th grade to 8th grade. It is broken down into two seperate dances. The 5th and 6th grade first and the 7th and 8th to follow.

There is plenty of adults in the area for supervision and Mixed Impressions provides great music all night long. This is combined with the traditional dances like the Cha Cha and Cupid Shuffle and all the fun dances.  Thank you Rec for starting us off for another great year of junior high dances.

The year ended for MIDJs on December 17, 2010 at probably one of our best patrons for years. The Ephrata Recreation Center. Not only have they contracted us year after year for at least 8 dances through the school year, but also a couple of pool parties at the Ephrata Pool as well.

As we have stated before in the Blog, a lot of our business is through referrals, and that is another area the Rec Center has done for us. Not just birthday parties for the younger crowds but weddings too. Thank you Ephrata Rec!

On December 3, 2010 MIDJs pulled a double with Manor Middle School and Centerville Middle School. These are two junior high schools that we have a year long contract with and have them for several years dating back to the early 2000′s. Two awesome schools to work with both faculty and student wise.

We look forward to 2011 and on-going. Thanks for another great school year.

October 22, 2010 was the first of 5 of dances at Manor Middle School. MIDJs signs a yearly contract with Manor and brings a nice little light show along with fun dance music and the infamous “Dance Circle” to the event.

These kids were kicking it good for the first dance of the year. They packed them in with over 250 students!

Our first Junior High School dance of the young school year was on September 17th at Centerville. They pack the students into the school and they come to dance the night away. We played the latest and greatest songs on the radio. They are a good group of students and they make Mixed Impressions job easy. We just play the mixes!

On the only Friday the 13th in 2010, Mixed Impresssions Entertainment traveled to the Ephrata Pool for a Junior High Splash Party sponsored by none other than the Ephrata Recreation Center. It was cool night, but we heated things up with great music for the close to 100 students coming out to have a nigthtime swim. MIDJs enjoys the pools for the summer fun. Thanks to the Rec Center for another great event.    

As was the case in 2009, Mixed Impressions was doubling up for the Penn Manor School District. We started the evening at both Manor Middle School for the 8th grade dance, and ended at The Lancaster Host Resort for Penn Manor High School’s Prom.

The Middle School has a nice 8th grade dance just for those students moving onto the high school. They get all dressed up and get their groove on. We formed our usual Dance Circle and they showed how they dance!

The Penn Manor School District, another school we have worked with quite a lot over the years. We have some more pictures below for the Manor Middle School dance that started this evening of May 21st off.

That was only the beginning. We had already set up and DJ Mark Haines got the party started at the Host for the PM High School Prom. What an awesome crowd! This too, ranked up there as one of the biggest Proms in Lancaster County this year. So Mixed Impressions’s DJ’s one of Lancaster’s biggest school DJs was there once again! The props were on order among the fun dance music as you see below.

 

This Prom annually ranks high for fun year in and year out. Just look at the sea of students living it up and partying all night long.

There seems to be no end in sight. MIDJS disc jokeys Matt & Mark Haines just brought the party to Penn Manor and they took to the dance floor and kept it going. Mind you the dance floor at the Host… the stage! What an event. Thank you Penn Manor for another great year! Let’s do it again in 2011. Check some more pictures below.

On Friday night April 16th, 2010, MIDJ’s were busy with both Donegal Middle School and the final dance of the Ephrata Recreation Center for the 2009-10 school year. DJ Mark and Matt Haines were at each event respectively.

These are two programs that have continued great patronage with our company and its why Mixed Impressions is one of Lancaster County’s best kept secrets for entertainment with the middle school events.  Thanks to both of these groups and we look forward to 2010 !
