On Friday, April 24, 2009, DJ Matt Haines headed to Ephrata Recreation Center for the final dance of the school year. Although a beautiful day out The Rec still filled the room. They split the dances with 5th and 6th grade in one dance and then 7th and 8th grade in the later dance. Thanks to Terry Hildebrand for having us come out and entertain for the monthly dances.

We would also note that MIDJs also entertained for Terry’s daughter for her wedding back in September of 2008.

On this same night DJ Mark Haines traveled to Hempfield High School and finished up the school year with a joint dance of both Centerville and Landisville Middle Schools 8th graders. It’s an event to introduce the students to each other and the high school. We closed out the year with Centerville DJing at all their events. Someday we would like the opportunity to get back with Landisville Middle.

Thanks to both Centerville Middle School and the Ephrata Rec Center having us throughout the 2008-2009 school year. We look forward to 2010. 

On April 17th, we finished another successful year with the Donegal Middle School. We entertained several events almost monthly during the school year. Thanks to Advisor Jessica Rose for having us throughout the school year. We have the future pleasure in August of entertaining at Ms. Rose’s wedding! MIDJ’s keep going back and now we added a wedding reception out of this too!

Thanks to Donegal and Jessica Rosa. We look forward to 2010!

Back at it again at the wonderful Rec Center in Ephrata. Another double dance, another bunch of students from Cocalico and Ephrata Junior Highs. It’s just a blast! We have students that come out and show their dance moves and get their groove on in a dance circle.

It’s always a blast to entertain these students. For anyone checking this out, there are fun events all school year long at Ephrata Rec. Center. We have one more danc in April yet.

The other half of Friday the 13th took us to a new junior high school within a great school district. The one and only Marticville Middle School within Penn Manor School District.

One word describes it. Wow! This kids come to dance and dance they did all night!

Just check it out above, the students doing the Macarena. They had a dance contest and the students were NOT afraid to come out and show off their dance moves. We played the hottest tunnes and they did the rest. We look forward to returning to Martcville Middle School. Thanks  for an awesome first dance! See a few more pictures below.

On Friday the 13th we did the double starting in Marietta with Donegal Middle. What an awesome group of students. They get to run around, dance and do all your traditional dances like the Cha Cha Slide, Electric Slide and so much more.

DJ Mark Haines kept the night going. Thanks Donegal for a fun time as usual. We go back one more time in April to finish out a great year with the Donegal Middle School.

We have a light show and the good clean fun music to make for an energetic night for the students. DJ Matt Haines went back to Manor Middle School for the first school dance of 2009. They were all dressed up and ready to dance the night away under the lighting effects and fun dance music. Disc Jockey Matt Haines had playing for them all night. Below you see them doing one fo their own special dances to a song.

The students and faculty at Manor Middle School are simply the best. We enjoy going here and entertaining these students each year! We form our dance circle and let them show off the dances moves and abilities. It’s just a fun place to go! See you soon Manor!

Oh no! Friday the 13th. But not a problem for MIDJs and the Ephrata Rec Center. Things went off without a hitch. Tons of kids came to dance and dance they did! The Rec Center has monthly dances for the middle school students through the school year and they also sponsor other special events like talent shows and late night swims. These events are open to both Ephrata and Cocalico students.

For MIDJs it has always been a success coming to the Rec. We plan on bringing some pictures the next time. So look back after the next dance — scheduled for March 20th!

Here in Lancaster County, Mixed Impressions DJ’s can cover two events on the same day only hours apart. We started in the afternoon at Pequea Valley Intermediate School and then less then 2 hours later were playng again at Centerville Middle School.

MIDJs traveled to Pequea Valley Intermediate for the first time and look forward to going back there in the future. We made friends with the students and they enjoyed the afternoon dancing and getting into some of the crowd involvement songs like thr Cha Cha, the Slide. It was a fun time.

We headed back westward in Lancaster County to Centerville Middle School for their first dance of 2009! Once again, another huge crowd, great kids and alot of dancing! Thank you Centerville!

Wow! What a great dance! On January 30th, DJ Matt Haines headed to Township to entertain the students. Simply put, they entertained the DJ. These kids were just having fun! Check it out here.

The kids here did the Hokey Pokey, Chicken Dance, Cha Cha, the list goes on! They were dancing to everything! The faculty were enjoying things making requests as well. The cool thing was the students just kept dancing away!

A staple of Mixed Impressions DJ’s has been the Ephrata area. The Rec Center for one has been very good to us. We enjoy entertaining the middle school students from both Ephrata and Cocalico.  This students come to have fun and dance.

We have the traditional top songs at the time like T.I., Katy Perry, Beyonce. We also play the classics like the Cha Cha, Cotton Eye Joe, and plenty others. Thanks to the Rec Center staff for having us come back year after year!
