PA Virtual Charter School
September 21st, 2011 under Prom, Special Events. [ Comments: none ]

On June 4, 2011, for the second year in a row, we have worked with representatives at the Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School for what is their Graduation / Prom all in one night event. Students from all over the state come together in Harrisburg for an event with all of them graduating first and then a Prom to follow. It’s a great event.

MIDJs has done many state wide events over the years and this is another one we have been lucky enough to add to our list of events. It is a blast to bring students from all four corners of the state for a very memorable night. Thanks to the PA Virtual Charter School.

Ephrata Prom
September 21st, 2011 under Prom. [ Comments: none ]

Once again, our longest running event. Ephrata Prom, since the early 1990′s! Yes, not a misprint. MIDJs have been entertaining at the Epharta High School Prom since what we believe is 1992. The research is being done to confirm that. But what a school, what great students, and what a wonderful working relationship we have had with the district over all these years.

They come and invade Willow Valley (now Double Tree) and just dance the night away. A wonderful meal in Palm Court and then off to the dances. We have had the pleasure of working with many advisors over the years and just greta students too. It has ALWAYS been a real treat for myself or my brother to go to Ephrata and entertain these students. For that, we say thanks, and look forward to 2011 – 2012.

On this same Friday night in May DJ Mark Haines took to Willow Valley for Octorara High School’s Prom. A great mix of music and a spectacular light show. We keep the kids pumpin’ to the end of the night. Again, a school that we have had the pleasure in working with for many years and are ready to go back in May of 2012. (Let alone October for Homecoming.)

MIDJs, better known as Mixed Impressions DJs also does work in Chester County, Dauphin County, Lebanon and all over. Octorara is one school that things have kept going on with the good business since the turn of Y2K. Thanks Octorara!

The usual Memorial Day weekend for Mixed Impressions DJs, is Friday night at Hotel Hershey for the Senior Promon May 27, 2011. As usual, what a great success. We rolled in with the props and all the fun with lights and most of all the hip hop music of today. What a great night. You see how the students enjoy the props.

August 7th, 2011 under JH School Dances, Prom. [ Comments: none ]

It started in the mid afternoon on May 20th setting up for the Penn Manor Prom at the Lancaster Host Resort. DJ Mark Haines stuck around for the festivities at the Host for the Penn Manor High School Prom. DJ Matt Haines traveled to Manor Middle School for the 8th Grade Graduation Dance. This is always a fun event for just the 8th grade students. Here you a group of students giving a thumbs up to the summer coming in a couple of weeks.

Manor Middle School has been a great school to work with over the many years that we have had that pleasure. However, I am sorry to hear that Ms. Youtz will be retiring as the advisor this year. It has been a true pleasure working with her over the years and I wish her the best in her retirement. Check out a bunch more pictures below.

DJ Matt Haines traveled back to the Host where brother Mark Haines was booming out the sound, and spinning the lights to an awesome scene on the stage. It was a packed area with students all over the stage. These kids came to dance the night away. They had a masquerade theme.

Penn manor also went with the Party Prop package which just adds so much flavor and fun to the event. Here you see a student lighting up the dance floor with her moves. Getting her groove on!

It was all about Penn Manor on this day. Check some more pictures out below. Thanks Penn Manor for a great day and night of fun for us. We are set for another fun year in 2011 – 12!

ANother great year of Proms and it comes to the wonderful yearly finale, that is the Ephrata Prom. SOme of these students weren’t even born when Mixed Impressions started DJing their Prom! We lost count, but somewhere around 18 years running! What an awesome school, what an awesome group of kids. Just look they get into it!

We have not only made business relationships with faculty at Ephrata but personal ones as well. They have always been a great group to work with and for over the years. We always carry an awesome light show for the students and at atmosphere that keeps them going throughout the night.

Thank you Ephrata for another great year and we are certainly looking forward to 2010 – 2011.
