The seniors of Penn Manor have a graduation party in the morning and then by 11:00 are invited to the Millersville Pool for a pool party. Although alittle on the chilly side this year on June 8th, the students still showed up and we even had some swimming. Along with that Mixed Impressions music we provided a couple of games. One was a little relay race with the changing of the clothes and it was the guys vs. the girls. Here you see a couple of guys in the process…

It was a fun time if nothing else to provide some nice relaxing background music to the students as they caught some rays and mingled with their fellow graduating classmates. Once again thanks Penn Manor it is always great coming back to my own alma mater!

On June 5, 2010 we traveled to the Four Points Sheraton in Harrisburg for the Graduation / Prom event for students of the PA Virtual Charter School from all over the state. Another state wide event that Mixed Impressions Disc Jockeys has the honor of entertaining. Now for the second year in a row.

They have a large graduation followed by a dinner and this year finishing with a Prom for the students instead of just a general dance. The event hosted some 800 plus people with family and friends and students. Its a very elegant event with a wide range of students from all walks of life.

MIDJs just goes in and plays a variety of music for all to enjoy through the night. We do not have pictures for this event, however some may be found at the PA Virtual CHarter School website. We look forward to next year!

Each year the St. Joseph’s School in Chester County makes a road trip up to the beautiful Willow Valley Resort for an 8th Grade Graduation Party. With all the snow this winter it was delayed till June 2nd this year. They come and swim, play games have a nice formal dinner and then….

DANCE!!! We even got the parents that came along into it. After dinner they let loose and DJ Matt Haines played all of today’s hottest dance and hip hop music and even threw in a few classic dance tunes. These kids had a good time. As a little extra bonus for years of entertaining this kids, we also handed out glow necklaces. It was a fun night.

Again in 2010 we were at Millersville Univeristy for the annual Army Heritage event which brings in Middle School and High School students from all over the state. The annual event attracts 100’s of students and for one evening during the week they let loose and have a dance for the students. This year it was Wednesday, May 12th.

Mixed Impressions has been honored to entertain this state wide function for these students. It is an absolute blast! We have the party dances and more going on in the big gymnasium at the Ville. Check out some pictures.

Year after year Cocalico invites some of our senior citizens to the school for a great night of games and dancing. It is just an outstanding event sponsored by the school. You need to look at these pictures to see the fun these folks have coming here to the school.

They just enjoy themselves from begiing to end with all the activities and food. Check out the stroll line dance!

On April 10th, 2010, DJ Mark Haines traveled north to Palmyra for the Football Booster Fund Raiser dance. Over 150 adults came out to raise money to help support the Palmyra football team.

Playing some of the classics of the 60’s through the 80’s and even 90’s things were hopping all night long. Another huge genre of music was the Mo-Town music of the late 60’s, and 70’s and then who can forget the classic rock. DJ Mark kept things going with a nice variety of music. 

On April 9, 2010, MIDJs traveled to Manhiem Township Middle School for the Girl Scount Dance with their fathers! What a blast! Just look at the fun these kids and Dads had through the night.

We had a Country Hoe-Down going on with so much fun. We did some Cotten Eye Joe, some Hokey Pokey, and just fun music for Dads and daughters to enjoy a good night of dancing and laughing with each other. We even had a slow dance as you see below with a dad and daughter dancing.

Thanks to the Girl Scouts around Lancaster coming together for this fun event. It was a couple of hours I am sure these young ladies won’t forget. I know DJ Matt Haines will certainly remember the good time. Check some more fun pictures below.

Only two weeks ago we entertained at the tri-schools Mini THON but on this night, March 26, 2010, we entertained for the Hershey High School Four-Diamonds Mini THON. It has been the absolute pleasure for Mixed Impressions DJ’s Entertainment to play since the beginning for Hershey, and all area high schools for that matter. 17 years ago this event was started at the High School level right here in Hershey!

It started with about 30 to 40 students and went 18 hours. It was a success and has grown from there year after year. Now a couple dozen schools through out the state have Mini THONS to help raise money. Thanks to the Hershey High School and thanks for all the Four Diamonds does for the children and families.

MIDJs has the pleasure of entertaining for some of the areas Mini-THONs to benefit the Four Diamonds Fund. Each year a few dozen middle and high schools sponsor Mini THONs to raise money to benefit the Four Diamonds Fund through the Hershey Medical Center. We did it again on March 13th, 2010!

The three schools come together as seen in this dancing picture and simply had a great time.

They had tons of extra activities throughout the night and ended it with some dancing provided by Mixed Impressions and then gave away prizes. Just a great event for all three schools and the way they came together was awesome. They do this every year “For The Kids” and they raise lots of money!

On February 26, 2010, MIDJs had the first of 3 Mini-THONS over the next month. Palmyra one of the few that goes over night, but it certainly gives the awesoem experience of the THON at Penn State. The THON and Mini THON that Palmyra has it to raise money to assist families and the on-going research of cancer in children. Palmyra did an awesome job with lots of events and dancing throughout the night.
