On March 25th Mixed Impressions had their second father / daughter dance in less than a month and fourth in less than a year. They are becoming a big hit and MIDJs seems to be specializing in them.

Thanks to the Manhiem Township Recreation Commission and Terry Hildebrand for inviting us for this event. As you see below we have great interaction with the Fathers and the daughters dancing together.

As you see everyone gets dressed up and the daughters just have a great time, and MIDJs plays it all from the Hokey Pokey to the Cha Cha and all the fun stuff along with this event. Check out some of the daughters below dancing.

MIDJs has had the pleasure of entertaining many schools for the benefit of the 4-Diamonds Association through the Hershey Medical Center. It’s a wonderful event for a great cause. The 4-Diamonds works to help children with cancer. The students come out to dance, have fun, play sports, all for the benefit of the 4-Diamonds. As you see below, they know their dancing.

This event started at 9:30pm and went to 5:30am. It was a great success! Palmyra is a great school, with lots of spirit and that spirit was high… As they say “FTK” for the kids. Check out several more pictures below.

Mixed Impressions DJs over the past year now has done 3 Father Daughter dances and is scheduled for a fourth in the end of March! They are becoming a huge hit. If you are considering one, remember MIDJs are a speciality at it! The Dads and daughters fileld the Manor Middle School cafeteria! CHeck the action below!

You also see that in the above photo they were getting into a little Hokey Pokey! We  had so much fun through the night. The Dads were great. The girls were dressed to impress. It was a successful night! Again, they are a huge event and MIDJs is proud to be a part of them. You have to check out more pictures from this fun night!

It was truly an honor to entertain the fathers and their daughters at the annual Formal Dinner Dance. Although this event has been going on for over a decade, this is the first year that Mixed Impressions has entertained for this big event. What a great event. Just check out some of these fathers enjoying their time on the dance floor.

The daughters did show the fathers how to do the “dances” as you see in this picture where the fathers watched them do the moves to the Cupid Shuffle. However the fathers did join them for the Cha Cha and other fun songs! A wonderful meal was prepared by the Bent Creek Country Club and we simply had a fun night with the Fathers and Daughters. On November 13, 2010, we traveled to the beautiful Fireside Inn in Strasburg for the students of Solanco High School 20 years ago. They didn’t change a bit. It was great to see about 50 students show up for this event. We even had some dancing too!

Here is the best part about this event. In the neighboring room, Solanco also had a 30 year reunion going on and we had some of the “former students” from the 30 years come over and dance at our party! Thanks to ALL those students in attendance.

What a fun event on the eve of Halloween, October 30, 2010. The adults took this time to dress up for a fund raising event to benefit the Palmyra football boosters. There were some amazing costumes like the one below.

It was a great night of some of the greatest classic songs or the 60′s through the 90′s and even a few of the hits of today! We had blast and they did successfully raise over $1000.00! Check out some more fun pictures below.

Rescheduled to Monday, October 18, 2010, DJ Matt Haines went to the Bucher Elementary school Fall Festival with games and prizes and just tons of fun for the students and parents of the school. MIDJs just played some music and led some games for the students in particular. We ended the night with some fun dances that got everyone going, even the moms and dads!

Some of the students had their Halloween costumes on and it was just an all around fun night. Thanks Bucher, DJ Matt had fun. As usual MIDJs is versatile in all that we can do! From the young to the old!

Our annual Thursday night trip to Harrisburg for the state wide Pennsylvania School Board Association Convention. This all started back in 2006 and is now in it’s 5th year running. MIDJs has the ability to bring students from area high schools from all over the state to one location and do this for them:

As you see, that is get the students ALL dancing! Although these students may not know  each other as they enter this night, we just played the right mix of music and brought the fun. The students do the rest! Her eyou see a few posing juist a second so DJ Mark Haines can snap a picture.

This was just an overlal fun night and we kept the kids till the end which on this night was midnight! Check out some awesome pictures below.

On the only Friday the 13th in 2010, Mixed Impresssions Entertainment traveled to the Ephrata Pool for a Junior High Splash Party sponsored by none other than the Ephrata Recreation Center. It was cool night, but we heated things up with great music for the close to 100 students coming out to have a nigthtime swim. MIDJs enjoys the pools for the summer fun. Thanks to the Rec Center for another great event.    

The seniors of Penn Manor have a graduation party in the morning and then by 11:00 are invited to the Millersville Pool for a pool party. Although alittle on the chilly side this year on June 8th, the students still showed up and we even had some swimming. Along with that Mixed Impressions music we provided a couple of games. One was a little relay race with the changing of the clothes and it was the guys vs. the girls. Here you see a couple of guys in the process…

It was a fun time if nothing else to provide some nice relaxing background music to the students as they caught some rays and mingled with their fellow graduating classmates. Once again thanks Penn Manor it is always great coming back to my own alma mater!
