On Friday night April 16th, 2010, MIDJ’s were busy with both Donegal Middle School and the final dance of the Ephrata Recreation Center for the 2009-10 school year. DJ Mark and Matt Haines were at each event respectively.

These are two programs that have continued great patronage with our company and its why Mixed Impressions is one of Lancaster County’s best kept secrets for entertainment with the middle school events.  Thanks to both of these groups and we look forward to 2010 !

Another double booking on Saturday April 10th was DJ Matt Haines playing for the Beiler / Graham Wedding.  This was held in the best kept secret in Columbia at the Taste of Styles Restaurant and Banquet Hall. A beautiful room with even better people for this wedding reception. Here we have our wedding couple having their first dance as husband and wife.

After DJ Matt Haines covered all the traditions and kept things moving along to the dancing this is what happens below. Lots of dancing and fun times to be had by all with a train line dance and more.

On April 10th, 2010, DJ Mark Haines traveled north to Palmyra for the Football Booster Fund Raiser dance. Over 150 adults came out to raise money to help support the Palmyra football team.

Playing some of the classics of the 60’s through the 80’s and even 90’s things were hopping all night long. Another huge genre of music was the Mo-Town music of the late 60’s, and 70’s and then who can forget the classic rock. DJ Mark kept things going with a nice variety of music. 

On April 9th, 2010 we had the two events going strong with DJ Mark Haines entertaining at Manor Middle School. As usual playing the hottest dance music and getting this kids going in the “Dance Circle.” This gives students an opportunity to come out and show off thier dancing skills.

It’s an honor coming back to Manor year after year for an evening of fun and dancing. The students here certainly enjoy the music and lights provided by Mixed Impressions. We’ll see you next year Manor !

On April 9, 2010, MIDJs traveled to Manhiem Township Middle School for the Girl Scount Dance with their fathers! What a blast! Just look at the fun these kids and Dads had through the night.

We had a Country Hoe-Down going on with so much fun. We did some Cotten Eye Joe, some Hokey Pokey, and just fun music for Dads and daughters to enjoy a good night of dancing and laughing with each other. We even had a slow dance as you see below with a dad and daughter dancing.

Thanks to the Girl Scouts around Lancaster coming together for this fun event. It was a couple of hours I am sure these young ladies won’t forget. I know DJ Matt Haines will certainly remember the good time. Check some more fun pictures below.

We started off what is shaping up to be one of our busiest Aprils on record with an old faithful, the Rec Center in Ephrata. They have one more dance left, but as usual this did NOT disappoint.

MIDJs came to dance and party and have a great time. Things kids do that for us! They come to dance, party and just down right have a great time! Way to go Rec! Thanks to all who come out for these dances.  We’ll see you in a couple of weeks!

Only two weeks ago we entertained at the tri-schools Mini THON but on this night, March 26, 2010, we entertained for the Hershey High School Four-Diamonds Mini THON. It has been the absolute pleasure for Mixed Impressions DJ’s Entertainment to play since the beginning for Hershey, and all area high schools for that matter. 17 years ago this event was started at the High School level right here in Hershey!

It started with about 30 to 40 students and went 18 hours. It was a success and has grown from there year after year. Now a couple dozen schools through out the state have Mini THONS to help raise money. Thanks to the Hershey High School and thanks for all the Four Diamonds does for the children and families.

MIDJs has the pleasure of entertaining for some of the areas Mini-THONs to benefit the Four Diamonds Fund. Each year a few dozen middle and high schools sponsor Mini THONs to raise money to benefit the Four Diamonds Fund through the Hershey Medical Center. We did it again on March 13th, 2010!

The three schools come together as seen in this dancing picture and simply had a great time.

They had tons of extra activities throughout the night and ended it with some dancing provided by Mixed Impressions and then gave away prizes. Just a great event for all three schools and the way they came together was awesome. They do this every year “For The Kids” and they raise lots of money!

Mixed Impressions DJs started off March with a double booking on March 12th. DJ Matt Haines headed to the Rec Center for the double Middle School dance. Once again a great dance! The kids come to be with friends and dance and have a good time. Always fun at the Rec.

DJ Mark Haines headed to Donegal for his usual work with Donegal Middle School. They come to have fun and the fun came with hot music supplied by DJ Mark for the two hour event. The really get into the line dances and other hot mixes out there today.

Both of these clients have continued to be great patrons for Mixed Impressions Disc Jockeys. Thanks to both Donegal and the Ephrata Recreation Center!

On February 26, 2010, MIDJs had the first of 3 Mini-THONS over the next month. Palmyra one of the few that goes over night, but it certainly gives the awesoem experience of the THON at Penn State. The THON and Mini THON that Palmyra has it to raise money to assist families and the on-going research of cancer in children. Palmyra did an awesome job with lots of events and dancing throughout the night.

Palmyra has great support by school faculty and administration and parents to go along. The ultimate was this awesome amount of money they raised!
